Pioneer has launched the AS-PS55 waterproof speakers.  They are small and come in a variety of colors and you’re able to hang them anywhere in your bathroom.  Four AAA batteries power the device and audio input is supplied via the 35mm stereo jack.

Of course this means that  you will need a long audio cable if you want to connect it up to your home stereo or iPod.  Perhaps some form of wireless version could be in the works?
