Logitech Harmony Advanced Universal Remote for Xbox 360 Logitech keep on coming out with create remote controls and now they have one for your XBOX 360.  Thanks to it’s create macro support you can customize to your hearts content.  As an example you could set the “Watch DVD” button to switch on your TV, DVD player, adjust your TV to the correct input and access the DVD main menu.  Or choose “Play Xbox” and the Harmony will power on your TV, Xbox, steoeo receiver, switch to the right inputs, and even press play  Quite a time saver!

You’ll no longer accidently forget to switch off a a device as the remote remembers what devices it switched on so will power them all down at the end.

Programming the remote is really easier, simply connect the remote via USB and use the web-based interface to select your brand, model and what activities you want.  Either accept the defaults or customize them to your specific environment.  And don’t worry about being stuck with the default devices that the Harmony remote understands.  Put the remote control into “learn” mode and teach if what your devices are capable of.
