It may look like something from the 1980’s but it’s most definitely not a Beta Max VCR. Quote to the contrary it’s quite a beefed (3Ghz P4) up PC running Windows Media Centre Edition 2005. Intel and Philips have joined forces to bring you the Showline Media Center PC. Comes standard with:

• CD/DVD Recorder
• WiFi
• 2 x FireWire Ports
• 4 x USB 2.0 Ports
• Multi-Format Memory Card Reader (SD/MMC/Memory Stick/Compact Flash)

You should be able to get your hands on one of these devices from October 2005 but no info on pricing as of yet. [via gizmodo]
