Out of this world technology news and updates
Apple seems that it may be cheating on Motorola by developing a version of iTunes for Windows Mobile 5. An article along with pictures is available here. Apparently iTunes is quite complete and even supports syncing podcasts and such. The UI seems to fit in nicely especially compared to how it felt in the Windows environment.
With the increase in the number of Windows Mobile 5 phones due to be coming out soon this might just be Apple’s chance to dominate the mobile music scene. But it will have to go head to head against giants such as Vodafone and O2.
I doubt that this would impact the sales of iPods as you don’t want to have to lug around a PDA to listen to your music. Bryn has just purchased his iPod nano and he cannot stop talking about the size, or lack there of, of the device. So I’m sure Apple are safe on that front!
Perhaps this is a hoax but we will to wait and see what reports start surfacing.
