StealthText, a UK technology based company, are offering a service that will allow you to send SMS messages and have them deleted from the recipients phone once read.  This is not really a new service as the SMS protocol has long had options that allow you to sending flashing messages, messages that you can view but not save, etc.

But with this you are required to download a applet via WAP and you will need to send future messages via the WAP gateway.  This will send a link to the recipient which they will need to follow to view the “text message”.  Of course this results in extra charges to both yourself and the recipient but it your SMS love affair is that important then you might need this.  [via engadget]
