Vodafone, the UK’s largest mobile operator, has deployed “QuickPhone” vending machines that allow you to purchase pre-paid mobile phones containing 1GBP of credit.

Now these vending machines had better sell some airtime as 1GBP is not going to get your far at all. Talking of instant use, I wonder if these phones actually come pre-charged otherwise they really are not going to be a whole lot of use. A vending machine is meant to give you something that you can use there and then - such as a Mars Bar - but a mobile phone with no power is just not going to cut it.
Let’s hope all the chavs around Britain don’t go smashing through these vending machines and stealing the contents
