An Australian court has ruled that people who have been using the Kazaa P2P file-swapping program have indeed been infringing upon copyrights. Sharman Networks has been told to modify the program to prevent further piracy. This ruling is only enforceable in Australia but may well set a precedent for cases elsewhere in the world. So will we see a special version of Kazaa made available for Australian users? [via bbc news]
