There is now a solution, although not extremely portable, that will give your iPod a life of just over 100 hours per charge. So now you truly can listen to days worth of music!

If you’re the typical road warrior then you’ll be pleased to know that you can also use this battery to power most PDAs and cellphones. So you’ll never be caught without electricity again. The GeekPod as it’s termed is a Lithium Ion battery that’s 3.2 x 2.3 x 1 inches which is smaller than a deck of cards.

What would be quite interesting is if you could use this device to recharge your iPod itself. That way you would not have to carry the extra battery around while connected to your iPod. [via tauw].
