Voice chatting is coming to the sony PSP. Combine this with the many WiFi access points and you might even be able to do without your cellphone by using VoIP. Depending on what Sony has in store for us though!

Gizmodo is reporting that it may be as soon as 08 November 2005 for the PSP headset to be released. Now we just need Skype to release a VoIP client for the PSP and you’ll be able to take your and photo’s, movies, games and now even voice chat with your friends.

Apparently the first game to support the headset will be SOCOM: US Navy Seals Fire Team.
